Ventero Open Press is a non-profit organization emphasizing in giving back to the next generation by providing education, art supplies, and exhibition opportunities for both emerging and established artists.
After Randy Pijoan suffered a near death experience, he took a position teaching art at a local school. Their dire situation hit right between the eyes. There was no money for art supplies. Students had no hope of perfecting their skills or learning that art could be a life’s work. Randy was determined to give back to the community the best way he knew how – through the arts. Why not a place for artists to learn, create, share ideas and be part of the artistic fabric that is this community? After five long years of working with community leaders, knocking on doors and renovating the building, his vision was realized. Ventero Open Press opened with a bang in April of 2007. To learn more about Randy and his art, visit his website at www.randypijoan.com. Through out the years, we have been successful due to the hard work of our all volunteer staff.
